I saw on howardforums that the logitech mobile freedom (out or coming out soon) is supposed to be really nice.

Default Jabra 250

Well I have had the Jabra 250 for a few weeks now and I have had no problems at all with my 7100. It works flawlessly and has never "reset" the phone at all. It has great range as well and the talk time is better than any BT headset I have had before.

Don't know why you guys are having so many problems. I use mine constantly when I drive or when I am on a coference call in the office.

Can't wait to try one. HS810 just isn't loud enough for me in the car.

It looks like the Logitech Mobile Freedom supports BT 1.2 to provide "adaptive frequency hopping, quick connect time, and improved audio quality."

Does anyone know if the 7100t support BT 1.2? Thanks.

No, the 7100t is a 1.1 BT device. So you get no benefit in having a 1.2 headset. I have the HS 820 and its no different from the 810 except for the form factor.

Default The 810 has crashed on me

I have had the Moto 810 for about 2.5 weeks and it has crashed my phone about 6 times. Seems to have stopped for the last handful of days...

I second that on the HS 810. Had it for about 3 weeks and it was problem free. Today it crashed my phone 3 times.

Those who get crashes, have you ever done a complete wipe of the OS and reinstall? For any device I support, that is what I've done and none are resetting. And if you backup and restore during this make sure you don't just click a full backup and full restore cause that can reintroduce any software issue. Just restore the things you need like messages, autotext, etc. and keep in mind address book, tasks, memopad, can all be sync'd so don't have to be restored.

I haven't tried that. I'll have to give it a shot the next time I can get my hands on my girlfriends PC. Why oh why are us MAC users discriminated against?!

Any comments on BT Headsets and the 7290? How much call handling can be done from the headset?

Has anyone tried the Motorola HF 800 Portable Speaker?

How do you do a full reset of the OS? My OS fields are greyed out on the application loader.

The Motorola HS810 works great. I get goo dbattery life out of it and the noise cancelling technology is pretty darn good.

What is better is that I only paid 58.00 for it from Dan's cellular eBay store (new and in a box).

That's less than we would sell it for.... come to think of it that's below wholesale.

What's the old axiom... "How can you stay in business with prices like that? Volume! "

LOL

I also tried the Jabra BT250 and had issues with it. I may have been the first one to report the issue to RIM as they had no idea about it. I have tried a number of headsets and we have a lot of users who use them. My personal recommendation is the Logitech HS02-V05. The price is great and the clarity is amazing. I drive in the car all the time and people think I am at home as the noise cancelling makes the call crystal clear. I was out in a wind storm the other day and still able to carry on a conversation on the headset...never could do that with the Jabra.

Not sure of compatibility, but I have the Plantronics 2500. Battery life is awesome, no side effects, fits extremely comfortable (looks bulky, but I have not worn another headset that conceals as well) and picks up voice very well.
