This is probably not possible but I thought I'd ask. The idea is to pair a Bluetooth Music Gateway with a Jabra SP700 Bluetooth Car Kit or other car kit/speakerphone. This is for recording purposes to capture the audio via a PC. I'm sure there are better ways but under the circumstances the system has to be mobile, as in not being stationary rather than phones, and self-powered as there is none where the audio input, car kit/speakerphone, would be.

You could try using the Voice Recorder and put your phone next to what you want to record... I'm not sure if voice recorders play of the BlueTooth Music Gateway (I will look into that when I get to my car)...

I mean you can pair the Headset and BMG (BlueTooth Music Gateway) to your BlackBerry at the same time, I do that in my car all the time.. I know you can record yourself threw the BlueTooth.

What are you trying to record, music or just human voice (either way it will be the same file format I assume if it's recorded on your BlackBerry).

Wirelessly posted

Actually, I wanted a complete hardware to hardware connection for voice recording on a PC. I could simply pair a USB dongle to the car kit/speaker phone but I want to eliminate the dependacy of flakey bluetooth drivers.

Let's mix this up a bit. If I were to use a lapel mic, or other wired mic, what would I need to convert it to bluetooth to be available for the PC to record from? Or is there a decent lapel mic that is already bluetooth?
