Exclamation Switching Between Bluetooth Devices!!?!?

Please Login to Remove!

How can I prioritize my bluetooth devices so that it will automatically switch to the one higher when available?

I have a headset that I wear until I get in the car, in which case I want the car to take over, then when I shut off the car, I want the headset to be back.

I cannot figure out how to do this automatically.. or even manually!

Can anyone please help me figure out either or both?

Thank You!!

I've never heard of an automatic way to do that.

As for manual, after you get into your car and start it up, you could go to the BT screen, highlight the car BT entry, click the BB key and select "Connect." That should switch from your headset to the car.

That would take a LONG time while on a call because I have to go to the homepage first and then do all of that...

Is there any other way (while I'm on the phone)?

I don't know about "long time" but I think that's your only option.

It is a number of steps, unfortunately.

1. Back key on call screen
2. Accept to leave call screen
3. Find BT icon and click
4. Cancel the "find new devices dialog"
5. Select car BT Device
6. Click BB button and select "Connect"

What I have done is simply told my caller "I'm going to switch over to my car BT now...wait a sec for me while it changes." Then I turn off my headset and wait while the car hooks up.

Same in reverse when you leave the car. I don't think you'll find any easier way...
