Two feet? Definitely not. Especially if it's in open space. I can walk around my house freely on one floor without disturbances as long as I don't go beyond too many walls. I can even walk off half the stairs to the second floor. Beyond that however is when it gets choppy...

This is with the S9 and both 8310/8900

I've walked away from my phone while wearing BT headset (e.g., left it on a work-out machine) and not noticed until I got through a door into another room...
