Default BT Headset not working with VoiceMail & Storm

Please Login to Remove!

Had a new Storm... my voicemail & my jawbone2 headset worked fine. Dropped the Storm and it died. Picked up a replacement (new) yesterday and paired it up with the Jawbone2 just fine. I can make calls just fine, but when I check my voicemail it doesn't play thru the jawbone. As soon as the call is over it comes back. Any thoughts???

Have the same issue with the jawbone 2 and storm. Works fine for normal calls but does not connect for voicemail.

I use both a Plantronics 360 and Blue Ant Z9i ... Visual Voicemail works fine through the Blue Ant Z9i but does not play through the plantronics headset.

I am having the same problem with my Plantonics and my Toyota Avalon Hands Free.

You can hear the phone dial and then it disconnedts the bluetooth. If you watch the Storm very closley after the number is dialed the SPEAKER button lighs up and then the bluetooth is disconnected. I have my office Voice Mail number programed into the Storm and it does the same thing. I think it is the PAUSE that flips the unit from BT back to the phone. NOTE: If after you get connected to your voice mail press the SPEAKER button then you will see it replaced by the Bluetooth button - once you press that you headset or car will reconnect.

Ha!! It worked! Not perfect, but certainly usable. Thanks for the tip.
