Default Pushing files with bluetooth (aka OBEX, or OPP)

Please Login to Remove!

I'm used to pushing files between my PC and my phone using the bluetooth object push profile (OPP). I find this very convenient.

Now I'm trying it on a blackberry with an 8700. At first I thought the BB was completely missing this functionality, but now I see that there is a way: media -> options -> receive file type. Also, with the BB I have to pair first.

This is certainly not convenient and it is very limited. Is it like this for all Blackberries? Or does the situation improve with later models?

What about other file types? For instance, other phones let me send applications over bluetooth. Is there a way to do this with a blackberry? Are there 3rd party applications that add the missing functionality?
