Well I went to Plantronics forum....it...really sucks.........anyway........this unit will NOT turn off when holding the button down for four seconds. Sometimes it works most times it does not. When pressing down the button I get two tones.....one high pitch and then one low pitched and the blue light still blinks......no red light as it should when it turns off..........

I've e-mailed Pantronics and never get any replies. What's up with customer service...???? guess business is so good they can afford to ignore those that have made the purchase already...hmmm

Any ideas will be welcome. Hey...I'm even open to suggestions of another type of BT that you folks KNOW work well with my 8100.....

For future use though I'm considering the Javelin wherever T-Mo let's us get one here in Texas. Although I do wish I could get the Bold. Anyway looking forward to the solutions because I have to keep it charged up everyday so it won't die on me while on the road like it did in Houston today. An I NEED to focus in that traffic....lol.....
