Default For those with a Blueant Supertooth 3.....

This is helpful information for all those who are having problems transferring their address book to the Blueant Supertooth 3.

I bought the ST3 and when I tried to sync it with my Blackberry Pearl contacts, it wouldn't work (automatically, or manually). Therefore, it wouldn't announce the names of the callers. I tried to do it with my husbands phone (exact same phone, operating system 4.2, etc), and it worked. I spent hours on the phone with RIM trying to figure out the problem, and here it is...

Check your actual address book, and address data file!! Sometimes Blueant can't read your address book because of corruption within the entries. To fix this, sychronize your files to Outlook, then delete them from your phone. Then resychronize them back. (all done on Blackberry desktop). Voila! Now try pairing, and manually sending contacts-- it just might be your phone's problem too. Hope this helps!
