Default Blackberry to JABRA BT125 - 04-01-2009, 08:43 PM

Hi all,

i have BB BOLD and JABRA BT125, connected well, can make a call, answer a call BUT cannot listen to music.. no option to switch from speakerphone/handset to bluetooth.

And for Skudgemuffin's question:
1- activate your bluetooth on bberry
2- search the bluetooth device while you click and hold the JABRA about 5 sec until BBerry find it.release
3- if ur prompt to put passkey put it 0000 4times zero
4- thats it...

4. Getting started
The Jabra BT125 is easy to operate. The answer/end button on the headset
performs different functions depending on how long you press it.

Instruction: Duration of press
Tap Press briefly
Press Approx: 1 second
Press and hold Approx: 5 seconds

5. Charge your headset
Make sure that your Jabra BT125 headset is fully charged for 2 hours before
you start using it. Use the AC adaptor to charge from a power socket.
Connect your headset as shown in fig. 2. When the light indicator (LED) is
solid blue, your headset is charging. When the light indicator (LED) is turned
off, it is fully charged. (Follow step 1-2 in fig 2).
Please note: The lifetime of the battery will be significantly reduced if your
device is left uncharged for a long period. We therefore recommend that you
recharge your device at least once a month.

6. Turning your headset on and off
• Press the answer/end button to turn on your headset.
• Press and hold the answer/end button to turn off your headset.

7. Pair it with your phone
Before you use your Jabra BT125, you need to pair it with your mobile
phone. (Follow step 1-4 in fig 3).

1. Put the headset in pairing mode
• Make sure the headset is off .
• Press and hold the answer/end button until a solid blue light comes on.
2. Set your Bluetooth phone to ‘discover’ the Jabra BT125
Follow your phone’s instruction guide. This usually involves going to a
‘setup,’ ‘connect’ or ‘Bluetooth’ menu on your phone and selecting the
option to ‘discover’ or ‘add’ a Bluetooth device.* (See example from a
typical mobile phone in fig. 3)
3. Your phone will find the Jabra BT125
Your phone then asks if you want to pair with it. Accept by pressing
‘Yes’ or ‘OK’ on the phone and confirm with the passkey or PIN = 0000
(4 zeros).Your phone will confirm when pairing is complete. In case of
unsuccessful pairing, repeat steps 1 to 3.
