Default windows recognized bluetooth devices - 04-16-2009, 02:46 AM

i checked the following site for the complete list :
http://winqual.microsoft.com/HCL/Pro...=&sv=bluetooth

my question is as follows- if a bluetooth dongle is advertized as having a broadcom chipset ( and broadcom seems to be recognized by windows ) does this mean that windows will definitely recognize

I am traveling and cant get my hands on a actual broadcom or other device recognized by windows

thanx

I did have a bit of tweaking to do with Vista Home Premium but the Kensington MICRO unit eventually connected to my 8830. Is is a very small unit, not much larger than the usb plug shape, itself.
