Default Bold BT Recommendations - 06-28-2009, 09:31 PM

Did a search but was not successful....the Plantronics 220 BT sounds sctratchy and thought it was just the T-Mo connection but w/ATT and the Bold it is the same.

Wondering if you all have a recommendation for one that is economical (less then $100) and has reasonable clarity. Not looking for THE best just want to upgrade w/o having to buy a dozen to experiment with ..Ha...thanks yah'll...

It basically boils down to personal preference. I use the Motorola H500 and Jabra BT250V most of the time. Both work OK for me. But then I am deaf in one ear and can't hear out of the other - too many years flying across the Atlantic and Pacific glued to 2-3 radios at the same time.

Hear is the thing. Get it? Hear?

Haha, sorry. Here is the thing - I have two BT headsets, and some times, when I turn the headset on, the Jabra is crackly. I just push the button to turn the headset off, and then push it again, to turn it back on. Sometimes I have to do this a few times, and the crackly goes away. I think it is like having a bad connection on a landline, or when you are not properly tuned to a radio station.

I got the same issues sitting in the jump seat next to the hydraulic system in our "Hooks" High frequency whine that foam ear plugs did nothing but push ear wax deeper Ha...!
