Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry Curve 8900)

I had a BlackBerry device where the Bluetooth wouldn't enable. It turned out to be a hardware issue. Nothing I did in the OS helped, even performing a device wipe. You could try wiping the device or performing an OS reinstall to see if that would help.

It is more than likely a hardware issue, then. I had an 8700g that did the exact same thing. I couldn't enable Bluetooth and nothing I tried worked.

Interesting, that ! Thanks Jeremy. You'll notice I have a very similar problem with my newly-updated 8800 - "Where has my Bluetooth gone ?" Looks like a dead-end, then. Bah !
