Exclamation Bluetooth issue with Bold while using car handsfree system: please help! - 10-06-2009, 02:13 AM

Hi to everyone!
I have a problem with my Bold bluetooth, and I really don't know what could it be!

Let's go right to the point! --> if I make a call using my car handsfree bluetooth system while the device is in standby, when the call ends I am not able (most of the times) to exit from the standby mode unleast I do a battery pull!

I had noticed this even with my old Pearl 8100, but with that device I found a way to exit from that situation that it seams not working here with my new Bold.

The technique consisted in trying to turning off the device with the power-off button, and while the "hit any key to abort shutdown" menu was showing up, hit the mute button to enter in standby again, and then exit from standby correctly hitting the mute key again.

This little power-off/mute buttons trick was sufficient to avoid this problem, but with the Bold there is no way to avoid this bluetooth issue.

Can someone please explain what is the better thing to do?
Do I have to change os and have to make a hardwipe with JL_Cmder??

Ps: I heard of another wipe app called BBSAK: what is this all about??

Thank you!
