Like many others before me I have struggled to achieve a wireless data connection (optional traffic, weather services etc) between a TomTom 930 and Orange-UK via a Blackberry 8800.

On trying to set the service up The TomTom would get to the 65% stage, where it is checking with your service provider and then said it could not connect and offerend me the manual option.

Then I found a thread which mentioned lifting the adult content bar on the phone service.

After a quick call to Orange Customer Services, the bar was lifted and the wireless data connection was working perfectly.

I wonder how many others are affected by the adult content bar, the lady at Orange kindly told me that the majority of companies apply the bar to all new connections and if requested to re-apply it.
