Default Code 4.1.0.206 & Bluetooth

Please Login to Remove!

I recently changed my handheld code to version 4.1.0.206 and since then I've noticed something akward with my 8700r and various headsets. My primary headset is the Plantronics M2500 which I love due to its comfort, clarity and volume. However since I upgraded my firmware it always crackles now which it never did before. I also noticed this with my BT250. I am going to try the Moto HS850 and Nokia HS4W to see if they do the same I just have to dig them out of storage.

Just curious if any of you have had headsets that do that at all? When I use the headsets with my Nokia phone there is no hissing or crackling so it can't be the headset. I'm wondering if it's maybe the handheld code???

Have you changed themes? Some people have noted a correlation between certain themes and poor Bluetooth performance. Go figure...

I change the themes often. I'll try it w/ the pre loaded themes and see if that makes a difference. It's odd how the theme can make the BlackBerry do that.
