Default 2007 Camry & Bluetooth - 01-09-2006, 07:54 PM

I noticed this picture over at Autoblog.....looks as if the 2007 Camry should support BlackBerry's bluetooth.

I have a 2007 Camry w/NAV and it works great with my Blackberry 8700c for automatic connection, etc. HOWEVER, it does not seem to work for downloading my addressbook to the car system - anyone know how to do this or is it a blackberry limitation?

I have a 2007 Camry too. The system to set up to remember numbers that you input into it. The cool thing is you can use different bluetooth phones to use with the address book in the Camry.

Pretty sure you cannot import your address book in the Camry.

many (if not all) in-vehicle bluetooth systems do not download to and from cellular devices. If the Toyotas bluetooth system was anything like my Dodges, then it's extremely easy to set up.

congrats on your toyota with bluetooth. You'll love it.

Setting up the device in the car was pretty easy but when i tried to send over the addressbook from the blackberry it said it couldn't find the push server. Is that just a generic "i don't wanna send the addressbook" error or could this have to do with a setting on my BES?? Has anyone been able to successfully transfer the addressbook from their device to the car??
