i have a jabra 250, I had used it with my V710 prior to getting my BB. I was able to name dile from the head set, can I do this with my BB?

No. You would need "Voice Dial" service from your cellular provider. The Blackberry doesn't currently have the software in it to recognize the commands.

Depends on which Blackberry you have. MobileVoiceControl will do voice activated dialing (among other things) for the Nextel Blackberry devices.
