i got a belkin cf bluetooth adapter, installed great on my x31 thinkpad, but when i hit pair with my 7920 it can not enter any passkey. i dont even recall setting a passkey on my laptop?

Are you trying to pair your BlackBerry to your laptop? I dont think that is possible. You can sync your BlackBerry via bluetooth to the laptop.
