Jabra BT800 vs. Motorola H700?
Which one wins?
I am in the market for one of these!

I have a 700. I love the size and the audio is good, but EVERYBODY tells me they can hardly hear me. Yes the vol. is all the way up.
just my .02

I have one of the Jabra BT headsets, the comfort is nice and I have not had any complaints about people not being able to hear me. My suggestion to do what I did. I am very lucky to work closely with a Nextel dealer. I had him charge up all the headsets I was interested in, then I went in and called my wife and my office with each headset and got their feedack. I then made my decision based on their feedback, and the comfort of the headpiece.

I have no problems or complaints using the H700. Best headset I have used (including BT800)!

I tried the H700 and returned two of them as I had major issues with lack of range (using it with my 8700R). If you walked more than 10 feet from the device you got static. Did some research and this seems to be an issue with some of the early versions of this headset. Later releases don't seem to be affected by this as much.

Yep, the newer builds of the H700 are better than the earlier builds. Went from a 05327N to a 05342 and there is substantially better range and less static.
The biggest differentiator of the H700 is the boom. When you close it, it powers off and disconnects from the BB, thus saving battery life. This also conserves more juice on the BB as well. When a new call comes in, flip open the boom and you're connected within 2 seconds and ready to go.
