I have a BB 7250 running the most recent Handheld Software, and I've had nothing but problems with Bluetooth. It works fine, but it seems to lose its connection when sitting idle for a while. Worse, the BB still thinks Bluetooth is working and will not let you disable it. If you disable it from the ribbon menu, it still says Enabled from Options / Bluetooth. The only way I can disable it is to reboot the device.

Anyone else have problems with Bluetooth on these 4.0 devices? I hear the 4.1 devices are much more reliable.

i've had the same exact problem with my 7250

My Verizon 7250 works very well with the Jabra BT500 headset. I've had it on for 4-6 hours at a time, while driving, and it never loses the connection. Is it possible that you are blocking the signal with your body - bb on left side, bt on right ear - or possibly walking too far away from the unit? Also, do you have it paired as handsfree or headset? This could make a difference. Have you tried it with other BT headsets?

I've owned 2 different headsets. I forget how I'm pairing it (handsfree or headset), but I'll check. It happens with both.

Also, even if I do get too far away, it should just simply disconnect, then when I get in range it should reconnect (if it's set to trusted). And Bluetooth doesn't need line-of-sight, so it shouldn't matter what side I wear the headset on and where the BB is... Right?

I have a 7250 running 4.1 OS with a Plantronics V510 headset. On weekends iI ussualy have the headset on from about 9:30 Am until about 6:00 PM with no problems at all.

Yes, I'm very much hoping the 4.1 OS will help. Unfortunately, Verizon has not released it yet...
