I have a 8700c BB and am trying to sync with my Dell laptop with a USB bluetooth. Is this possible. I can't find any mention of it in the search.

I use this same USB bluetooth with my Palm TX and it syncs fine but I cannot get the BB to recognize it. I'm running BIS btw not BES.

As stated above if you do not use the windows native drivers and use the third party drivers you will have problems. If you have third party drivers already installed they will have to be removed prior to doing this. If you dont have them then the next possibility is what is happening to me, My BB was on a BES previously and though I have removed the IT policy apparently it was locked to not accept bluetooth connections and then you are stuck unless you can find a way to remove those. If you are on a BES it it quite possible that your companies IT Policy is what is preventing you.
