Anyone pair a BB (specifically hopefully an 8700) with the new 2006 Land Cruiser? I'm thinking of buying one and am finally looking forward to a using a bluetooth vehichle. I'm hoping it can also handle things like my entire address book. Any info would be much appreciated

i know this doesn't directly answer your question, but i have an '05 cruiser and a 7105t (currently, hopefully an 8700g next week) running OS 4.0x and it pairs up great but there is no ''send address book'' on the BB to send it to the nav screen. don't quote me, but i believe OS 4.1 (which you'll have on the 8700) will do it because it has bluetooth 2.0. agian, i'm not sure on that, but (not trying to be a dick, but) you might want to try a search.

it's not truly handsfree if i have to pick up the bb and look at the screen to see who's calling instead of looking at the nav screen (where it says ''incoming call'' currently).

you'll love the cruiser - it's an awesome vehicle.

happy cruising !!!
