Default dropped phone ==> no bluetooth

Please Login to Remove!

up until this point, i've been successfully using my BB with a bluetooth headset for nearly a year.

i dropped my phone yesterday (a rare event), but the cover fell off and the battery fell out. After putting it back together and restarting, the bluetooth icon on the desktop is no longer present.

when i go into "options" and select "bluetooth", it says enabled...but it fails to find my headset.

I believe i must have permanently damaged the bluetooth component during the drop, but if anyone has other ideas...please post. i've already tried disabling/enabling bluetooth along with restarting the pda.

Default

Have you tried re-pairing the bluetooth headset to the device?

Angry can't repair

i can't pair the devices even when using the "add device" function in "options"/"bluetooth"...it simply does not find my headset even though my headset is on/in pairing mode. previously, my bb knew that my headset was in the vicinity and offered to connect me; no anymore.
