I got got the Plantronics 510. It synced up easily with the BB. I thought all was great.

Today after syncing (blue blinks on the BB) it drops sync and then 30 sec later reaquires and blinks blue again. Then a few moments later it drops again and does the same thing.

In an hour it did it 10 or 15 times! I had the headset on and could hear the beeps each time it did it and looking at the BB screen it shows dropping then gaining sync back again.


The headset is fully charged. The BB is fully charged.
Is the BB the culprit or is the headset the problem?

It is annoying anyway!

I had this happen to me on my combo of a 7100t and Plantronics M2500 last year.

I recharged the headset tonight and turned it back on. It immediately synced up and after an hr it has not dropped once!

I wonder if it is possible the headset needed more charging, or discharges quickly? Maybe being in the Expedition affected it? Or being near the water away from cell towers?

I dont know!

I wore the headset for 8 hrs today and it never lost sync once. I am at a loss to know why it did before. Today I was in my house and before in my SUV by the lake. But now it works fine. go figure
