Just got a nXZen 5500 Plus. I may be spoiled with my 18 month old Plantronics 510, so bear with me. Anyway, I got the NXZEN to pair with the 7100 just fine. However, I am finding that I have to jump through hoops to get them paired on a normal, daily basis. Once the NXZEN loses the connection with my 7100, I am having to go through the button sequence on the 5500 and I am having to go into Options->Bluetooth and tell it to connect to my NXZEN. With my Plantronics, when I restarted the headset it would automatically pair with the phone. Is this a Gennum NXZEN thing? Or a configuration on my phone? I set the headset to be trusted so it wouldn't ask me to accept the connection. It has all the same settings at my Plantronics.

it's the phone's firmware. i had a HUGE problem on my SE k750i and after i upgraded my firmware on the phone, i didn't any problems.

I had that problem with 2 7100t's and a Plantronics M2500. Unfortunately, T-Mo was too slow to release an upgrade and I went back to the OEM headset that came with the phones.
