Default blueteoth from BB to another phone - 07-11-2006, 09:05 PM

Is it possible for BB to bluetooth to other phones like razr, v600, d500, etc any other phone with bluetooth? I cant seem to find a way.

I try to look for device on my other phones while both bluetooths are on and i cant find anything. Does it have to do with the Class of the bluetooth like class 1.1 or 2 or something like that

That function is not enabled for BB...the only thing you can do with Bluetooth as a typical user is sync to a carkit or headset.

Yes. It is a shame. You and about 3 million other users would like to do the same thing. Too bad RIM isn't interested in such functionality. It's too unsecure for RIM. I guess they've never heard of letting people turn features on and off for themselves. RIM's "Big Brother" attitude is generally very annoying for the pro-sumer market.

Thanks,
Tom
