Default How do you "un-ignore" a bluetooth headset? - 08-13-2006, 03:22 AM

I have a 7520 on the Telus MiKe network running v4.0.2.37

A friend of mine put my motorola hs820 headset on "always ignore this device" or whatever it is when it was trying to pair to my blackberry.

How do I reset this so I can use my headset again?

On your BB, turn Bluetooth on
then go to Options>Bluetooth
You should see your headset listed under paired devices
highlight it and click trackwheel and you should see an
option to add the device as trusted again.

Have you tried deleting the device from your BB and then reestablishing the link/re -pairing? That would be my initial instinct, don't know what else to suggest beyond that.Hope this helps.

I kinda deleted it from my paired device list. When I search for new devices, I see it flash the screen that alerts you to new devices but that lasts for like a fraction of a second....

Doh!
