Default Nokia BH-900 and 7130c - 08-16-2006, 03:16 PM

I purchased the BH-900 to go along with my 7130c and 8700. I must say it is a very nice BT devise. Audio quality (both ends) is very good and it does a very good job of reducing background noise. I spend a lot of time in airports and on the road. Extending the boom works to increase your volume when in a very noisy environment like a bar. I am pleased with the audio performance and comfort. Before reading the manual I was unable to get the barn thing on my ear. But after reading the manual it shows you how to put the devise on your ear and it is very simple and quick. It is also nice that you can put it on either ear without reconfiguring the headset.

My problem is the BH-900 will not stay paired to my 7130c. It will stay paired until I make the first call or an inbound call. After hanging up the call it will disconnect and reconnect about 6 times and then it will give up. After this happen it will not pair back up unless I turn the BT off and turn back on and it will pair with the 7130c. The 7130c works and pairs fine with my discovery 640 & 645 and Scala 500. Frustrating...very Frustrating. I have no problems with paring 8700 and the BH-900.

Anyone have any comments, thoughts, or advise?

Wirelessly posted (Cingular 7130c: BlackBerry7130/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

My 7130 does the same thing with a Samsung WEP 200. I haven't been able to figure out why or how to fix it. I thought it was just a problem with the headset, but it doesn't mopk that way if youe having the same problem.
