Ok well I just got a blackberry from a friend, I unlocked it and am using it with my cingular network. I dont have a data plan yet so I am currently just using it as an oversized phone. But anyway. I have a toshiba laptop with built in bluetooth. I ran the bluetooth manager and it found my BB, here's where the problem comes in. At first when they tried to connect it asked for a passwork on the BB which i entered 0000 then asked for my pin on my laptop. I put it in and everytime it would error, so i tried 0000 and now it no longer promps me. Now when i go to connect to the BB through my laptop it says Unable to detect service. I put my compuiter as trusted on the blackberry but I stil cant get them to connect to eachother. What is the problem? I start school tomorrow and would like to have them workin together inorder to keep my life a lil more organized

First off welcome to the forums. Use the search button as much as possible as most topics have been beaten to death. It sounds like you are attempting to Sync your device with your data files on Outlook etc.

You need to setup Desktop Manager on your computer and then setup the program to mirror the data that is in your PIM (Outlook). See this post:
