Default 7250 won't enable Bluetooth - 08-29-2006, 05:11 PM

My 7250 rebooted on its own last week while in my car and afterward the BlueTooth headset would not connect. The screen to allow the connection pops up for less than a second then goes away. When I go into the 7250 settings, it shows the Bluetooth option disabled and it will not allow me to enable it.
Any ideas?

I had a similar problem on my 7250; after the BT connection was lost, my attempts to re-pair it had the same problem with the connection screen popping up for an instant. What I realized after some searching is that I was not setting up the BT headset for proper pairing. You might want to double check your headsets user guide to verify the procedure. Once I had the headset set up properly, I was able to re-pair it.

I know this does not resolve the problem you have with getting the BT option enabled (you might try powering down and removing the battery - after re-inserting the battery and re-starting, it may work) but I hope it might be of some help.

I have this problem... usually once a month. Do a hard reboot by removing the battery with the BB on... then put the battery back in and power up.

It has to be something with the bluetooth software inside the BB.
