Default Headset connect/disconnect. - 09-18-2006, 09:48 AM

This may be a really basic question, but I've looked through the manuals and searched and can't find the answer, any where. I'm a new to blackberry. I'm used to connecting my Jabra 250 to a Sony T610. The T610 has a powersaver mode that automatically disconnects it from the headset between calls. When a call comes in, it automatically reconnects to the headset so you can answer the call.

I can't find this as an option in my 8100. Does this not exist? Do I need to manually disconnect my headset after each call if I want to save battery life on both? Is there a work around for this?

Okay, I hate to bump my own question, but is no one familiar with this?

Bummer. I loved this about my Sony phones. Thanks for the response.
