Default Nokia Carkit CK-7W Echo - 04-10-2005, 05:15 AM

I have a BB 7290 and a Nokia Carkit CK-7W, connected via bleutooth. The other person does hear a Echo. I don't have this problem with my Nokia 6310i. Does anybody also have this problem, or knows the solution?

Welcome to BlackBerry Bluetooth.

There are all kinds of issues with BB bluetooth carkit and headset compatibility... Some model BB's work with one device but not another model. The only kits we have used that are bulletproof with the BB are the Parrot.

I'm sorry to say you are stuck at this point until RIM resolves these issues with an OS update.

Can you tell me how you connected it. I have the same configuration, but it keeps on rejecting the connection.

Connecting is not easy, first set bluetooth off, then after you hear the beep from your ck-7w that it can't find a device, set bluetooth on again and start the search. You will need to give a pass (i.e. 0000)to connect. If you later on set the connection to trusted it will more often not work than it will work correct. Also there still is the problem with the echo, which is very annoing. Tried to get in contact with BlackBerry but still waiting for an satisfying answer.
