Default Bluetooth receiving data from other phones to BB8100 - 03-20-2007, 05:58 AM

I am having issues with receiving picture files or mp3 files from other phones for example: Samsung, Motorola Ect... I have tried the following listed below:
and it still does not work.. I am able to pair with other phones but not receive files.. Is there a fix for this. Error message on recipient phone would be: [CONNETING TO BB 8100; THEN TRANSFER FAILED]
You can send and receive files, using Bluetooth wireless technology, between BlackBerry Pearl 8100 smartphones by completing the following steps:
Enable Bluetooth on your BlackBerry Pearl 8100 smartphone. See the BlackBerry 8100 User Guide for instructions.
Make the sending and receiving BlackBerry Pearl 8100 smartphone discoverable. See the BlackBerry 8100 User Guide for instructions.
Pair the two BlackBerry Pearl 8100 smartphones. See the BlackBerry 8100 User Guide for instructions.
Set the Trusted field to Yes on both BlackBerry Pearl 8100 smartphones.
In the Bluetooth application, highlight the BlackBerry Pearl 8100 smartphone and press the Menu button.
Select Device Properties.
Set the Trusted field to Yes.
Press the Menu button and select Save.
Send and receive the transferred file.
On the recipient’s BlackBerry Pearl 8100 smartphone
On the Home screen, click Media.
Click a media type (Music, Video, Ring Tones, Pictures).
Press the Menu button and select Receive using Bluetooth. The File Transfer dialog box appears, followed by a prompt to Save or Cancel the file.
Click Save to save the file to the current location, or click the folder icon to save the file in a different location.
On the sender’s BlackBerry Pearl 8100 smartphone
On the Home screen, click Media.
Click the same media type selected on the recipient’s BlackBerry Pearl.
Press the Menu button and select Send Using Bluetooth.

I'm having the same problem.

I can't seem to receive a couple pictures from my Razr of which I just upgraded from. However I am capable of sending pictures to the razr from my 8100.

Anyone have any insight?
