Default BB8800 and Jabra Headsets - 03-23-2007, 03:46 PM

I have a friend who was trying to use an older Jabra BT250 with their new 8800. It paired fine but keeps dropping the connection. They really like the over the ear Jabra design though.

Has anyone been using the newer BT500, BT500v or BT250v with their 8800? Any problems with any of these headsets?

I don't use these headsets so I'm not sure if any of them will work with the 8800. Thanks!

I have a BT250V. No issues other than the usual delay, and no VAD,

Maybe there is something wrong with your headset/ pairing. I'm using a 250v and 8800 and am able to use VAD.

I got VAD to work too.
Did you pair it by starting up by holding the Volume Up and the Power button?
I found this to work rather then starting up by only holding the power button.
It should force the Headset profile.
