Question pairing - 04-23-2007, 09:22 AM

Just getting to grips with my new 8800. I have managed to pair it successfully with my TH Bury bluetooth car kit and it works okay. However I seem to need to connect it everytime I get in the car. Is it possible to get it to automatically connect to the car kit when ever it is in range.

Also is there anyway I can set the backlight to come on and stay on when the unit is being charged. I have managed to get the MAPS working, but get frustrated when the backlight keeps switching off.

For the backlight, you can't set it to stay on. Get the third-party software called BBLight for that need.

For the BT connection, go to Options > Bluetooth. Select your TH Blury car kit device, click to Device Properties, and set TRUSTED = YES.

Thanks foor your reply.
I have already tried setting the device properties to "trusted" but it does not connect. If I go into the menu and say connect, it connects straight away so there are no problems with actually connecting, it just doesn't initiate it.

I will get a copy of BBlight downloaded.

Thanks
Colin
