Default HS-655 Does it have multipoint? - 04-29-2007, 08:12 PM

I am considering getting the HS-655 (Plantronics, but BB branded) headset and was wondering if it has "multipoint" technology like many other Plantronics headsets. I have the Plantronics 510 now, and I pair it with my BB and my work phone (samsung). If either phone rings, the headset will ring and connect, eliminating the need to pair and re-pair with each seperate phone. It handles both at the same time (not talking at the same time, rather handing off calls).

Can you pair the HS-655 with two devices at the same time?

i didn't even know they could do that. that's a cool feature. i have a plantronics 640.

i was also thinking of getting the bb branded headset, but i don't really like the earpeice/gel cap thing on mine. it works fine when it's in my ear, but it's flimsy and offten comes off the headset. poorly designed earpeice attachment...

question: what does a long press (on headset) do on the phone ?

sorry i couldn't answer your question....

I checked the specs on the HS-655 and did not see multipoint listed. I do see it listed with the Plantronics version 655.
