Default 8800 Bluetooth question - 05-18-2007, 08:06 PM

8800 pairs and works fine with my 06 BMW 5 series, but always auto-answers calls. I can't find a way to disable this, just want to be able to accept or ignore the call when paired. Can't find any settings to change this on the phone.

Thx in advance for any help.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Have you looked at:

Phone + Options + General Options + Auto Answer Calls ?

If that is set properly, then maybe the auto-answer is being initiated by your car, not the blackberry.

Auto answer on phone is set to never. When I go into Manage connections/Bluetooth options select the car kit device properties it lists services as: handsfree and object push and these fields cannot be selected.
