Smile Needing explanantion of how to use the Bluetooth Function..!!? - 05-21-2007, 12:32 AM

Could someone please explain to me how to use the Bluetooth and explain its function when relating to the BB Pearl 8100. I have had my new Pearl for approx 2 weeks and I am slowly figuring its many many options and functions-- I am pretty computer/cell phone savvy and am wanting to fully understand the capabilities of the Pearl and Bluetooth. Is there something that I need to do thru the Device Manager or do I need extra hardware? I have never used the Bluetooth functions before.....HELP !!
Many thanks...

K

What are you trying to do... BT from the BB to ?
Normally, say for a BT headset, you will turn on bluetooth on your BB (options > bluetooth) and them "pair" your headset by turning on the headset to a "discoverable" mode (such as often the BT headset LED will be solid lit at that time). Meanwhile, you instruct the BB to add a BT device and it will find the headset and they "pair". A similar process occurs for other BT devices.
