Default Data Sync with 8793e and Bluetooth - 05-23-2007, 05:56 PM

Good Day,

I have a 8703e and I manually sync my Outlook info (contacts, task, calender) to and from my PC.

I heard you can setup a BB so that it automatically syncs when it's in range of the blue tooth antenna.

I set that up, but I still have to use the software to sync. The only thing that has changed is that I don't use the cable anymore.

Do I need to install some software, or did I just miss something?

Thanks!

G

Nope, that is how it works. It is not automatic, you have to manually initiate the sync via Bluetooth or USB.

The only automatic way is via BES, BlackBerry Enterprise Service.
