Hi folks, I have just joined this forum and relied to another post but realised that it was in the wrong section . Could you have a look at the posts below and give me some advice.

Basically we are getting an error which reads "Uncaught Exception: java.lang.ClassCastException" shortly after connecting to our Bluetooth devices. More details in the attached post.

I think i have the answer. I was viewing a similar issue elsewhere on this forum and cam across a suggestion.

I had set up some "Groups" in my address book on my 8800 and it was since then that the problem occured. i have just removed the address book groups re-paired it to my car and guess what.....? It works like a dream again complete with phonebook transfer

Weird that groups affect Bluetooth, but by removing my groups my ailiing BlueTooth was fixed!

Too bad I can't use groups! Maybe a future version will fix this.

Thanks again for uncovering my problem. I too, had the "Uncaught exception: java.lang.ClassCastException error." Mine only occurred when attempting to dial phone numbers. I have since removed the three Groups I created within my address book and problem solved. Hopefully this bug can be fixed, because Groups are very convenient.
