Default Do you play Texas Holdem? How good are you? - 01-11-2005, 12:18 PM

Hi,

Do you play Texas Holdem?
Do you play it online wirelessly with other people often?
What is your Alias during online play? When do you normally play?

Thanks,
Mark Rejhon

I play it almost daily on the train to and/or from work when I'm not sleeping. I rarely play online though because of the spotty coverage on the way there and back.

I play it at least once a day - when I can pry it away from my son - and love it. I haven't played in any tournaments since WES...

I am not currently on a BES server, and I am still on the AT&T system. Anyway around the inability to connect to online tourneys? Anything I can change on my account or within my BB's settings.

Have you upgraded to 4.0 and seen if you can use tcp/ip? This could be a solution, but we haven't tested it out due to the fact that all work Blackberrys are on the corporate BES. Let me know if you try it and succeed.

I am using OS 4.0, but when I go into the TCP menu, through options, I only get the following options.

I checked out that thread, and that helped because now I can post my Highroller Blackjack earnings on the site, but I tried to get to the Texas Hold'em Tourney for January and could not access it. is Accessing the Hold'em tourney different than posting earnings on Blackjack?

Forgive my ignorance but how do you play online wirelessly? Can you set up your own game? I am on a BES.

I had issues with Texas Holdem not connecting, but just now I logged into the Internet from my laptop using my blackberry, and while connected to the net on the laptop, attempted to connect.

it worked!

I'll share, in the holiday spirit. First, see if you can find it at mobile.blackberry.com. If it's not there, then the game is no longer being offered free and you'll have to buy it if you want the full version. The key is based on your device PIN.
