Unhappy Connection to Game Servers (work around BES?) - 05-10-2006, 06:48 PM

My work uses BES. I found out that our internet connection blocks magmic.com - So I can't connect through BES.

I have tried to configured TCP settings in the blackberry for T-Mobile using APN: wap.voicestream.com (with and without APN username & APN password)

This problem happens with both games I have (Medieval Kings Chess II & Texas Hold'em King 2). In THK2 (configured auto and manually for T-Mobile(US)) I get the following error:
Network Unavailable Error_Code: 502

Any help would be much appreciated. I look forward to buying more games once I get these to work.

Thanks,

Ken

Currently, it's not possible with your situation. We are working to have better support for more unique networking configurations and more accurate carrier support in future versions.

Well thanks for the response and the e-mail from the support request I sent. What is sad is it was working perfectly with both applications until I registered it on the BES.

Awe well, I guess I can't have it all.
