My brother-in-law's BB 7290 "died" on him so he got the new curve. When he took it to the store, they swaped out the batter but it did not help so he let me have it. I plugged it in and I can get it to work for about 10-15 minutes (while plugged in), then it gets warm and vibrates, and shuts down...while shutting down it says something like "low power, shutting down to save data". I don't know if it can be salvaged but I was wondering if anyone here had any use for it before I stuck it on eBay with the same description. I want you to clearly understand that this does not function properly and I don't think it's worth fixing (unless you can do it for free), so maybe it's good for parts. I would ship to anywhere in the cont. US for about $10 USPS. I have no books or cords, cables, ONLY the phone and the belt OEM belt clip. Thanks!
