GSM UNlocker is the only I trust but they charge alot. So all you need to do is buy the device and than get it unlocked on your own.

]8700c for sale has a small scratch on top of the phone other then that its perfect only used for 1 month.. drop it nothing is wrong with the phone i just got another from work.. $300.00 plus shipping

From what i have read here unlocking the 8700c is not hard and maybe even free, lot of people have done it through Cingular International. And as fatr as wanting the 8700r instead (I imagine it is for the black housing, since the gray is not a preffered one) wait till replacement parts are available and change it, at that it be like getting a brand new BB all over again.
