there's no reason a mod should be 'intervening' after someone is out of their money.

I understand very well, both aspects. Since one, you cannot help the dense and stop them from buying.

Conversely, but those that would like some reassurance of not having had the same scammer on here again, a mod should check out the IP's.

Recall, the 'egomaniac' fiasco? Exactly, there's no reason it took so long for a mod to get involved in checking the IP of the one seller from Jamaica and egomaniac.

Umm.. I think you've said enough now, ok?

We won't be doing it this way, at least for the foreseeable future.

There are new seller guidelines in place. Just do your homework and all will be fine.

If mods were gonna do all this, they might aswell be on a payroll. Its simple, it is user to user sales. Just like someone said on craiglists, you are in control of whatever you do, just dont be dumb, and im my case I have seen a mod step in to the newbies or anything that is fishy, thats enough, ip check doesnt mean nothing.
