I'm getting an 8700c this weekend and I don't particularly care for the C casing; I like the R a lot better and G the best. As an added bonus, the R casing says "Rogers" on it and that just happens to be my last name

Good luck! I did the same thing actually (unlocked 8700c with an 8700r body). Having said that, I ended up having to buy two 8700 units :(

Might want to try Promobility-I believe they have an 8700r style replacement housing (might or might not say Rogers... not sure).

Nah I'm not going to cough up $90 for a ProMobility housing. It's not THAT important to me. I think I'm just going to give up on this little mission since I'll be putting my Best Skins Ever full-body shield on next week. I still like the 8700r more (and the style of the 8700g the best), but the 8700c actually looks a lot better in person than it does in photos. I've gotten used to it. If anyone contacts me about it though, I'll point them to you, phone_caller!

im the opposite. i have the 8700G casing, and don't care for it at all. i prefer the clean cut look of the 8700c casing. i'd be willing to swap if anyone's interested. 20420C8E

housing is BRAND new. sticker still on face.
