i don't know how tough it is to get it in the US, but the hype didn't really follow through in canada.. i know some friends that went to future shop at 8 this morning to go get their psp, and there were only another 10 people waiting anxiously for their psp that early.. i know of several stores with stock of around 150-170, and i don't think they sold out today.. but maybe it's just here...

Plenty of demand, but at $249 why would anyone want to pay $400...

Sony made people think that there wouldn't be any stock after a day or 2, but pretty much every store in my area still has plenty...

$250 is steep, when you can get a regular PS2 for $150, plus mor title, they would have sold more if it were $200 IMO, (like the DS coming out at $150).

LOL... Comparing the PSP to the DS is like comparing apples with rotten apples :D

The price for the PSP is amazing considering what you get.
