orange uk blackberry
 

Hi all ,new to the forum so lets see if i can get some help . i currently use an 8900 on the uk orange network but i am having problems getting used to the phone
question
can i buy an unlocked storm from another network and expect it to work on my network. I am lead to beleive the pin and imei number have alot to do with this.

you should be able to buy a unlocked storm, put your sim card in and it will work.
AS LONG AS you go to the orange BIS site and use the Change Device function. enter the new PIN and your service books will be pushed to the new phone.

i assume that as long as the previous owner has not already registerd the pin and imei there will not be any problem??(y)

Also, what issues were you having with the 8900? Depending on what they were, you may run into the same thing with the Storm.
