mobile internet access on O2 (uk) on BB 8900 - problem hi! I'm absolutely new to BlackBerries, I get one (javelin 8900) on saturday. I've got problem with it: I can reach Internet only via home Wi-Fi, which is fine if I'm using it at home, but less than satisfying when I'm outside. I've bought it as PAYG, not as monthly payed contract. I've found information about 02 'unlimited' internet access for phones (I have sent SMS 'web' onto 21300, it costs 7.5 pounds), but I cannot configure it. I followed this topic http://www.blackberryforums.com/afte...-software.html but I still cannot get access to the Internet. sincerely szymon BTW in my BB's screen, on right-up side (on the right side of clock) there is info about gprs and wi-fi only, nothing about edge. is it something i should be worried about? |
O2 don't do BlackBerry data plans for PAYG users. If you want to stick with O2, and you want to use your BlackBerry, you'll need to sign a contract. BlackBerry devices require a specific BlackBerry dataplan, not a standard one. |
