Ok I have searched for countless hours on this and even waited till blackberry came out with their software for the mac and still no luck.
I am trying to connect my 8100 to my mac via usb cable, everything works except for tethering. I'm using the following to set up my network:

Telephone Number: #777
Account Name: 662*******@bb.cs3g.com
Password: ESN (hex) in all caps

I have also tried using just @cs3g.com but I havent had any luck. I've used both research in motion and generic for vendors in the advanced tab. Does anyone have any idea how to get this to work. Oh the message I get after I do all this is "authentication failed".
